The IOWA BICHON GROUP has announced their Bichon PlayDay schedule for 2008.

Iowa Bichons will be off-leash blitzing at Rover's Ranch Dog Park on Sunday
June 8th and Sunday, September 7th
this year. The party will begin at 1:30
pm and is usually over by 4:00 pm but visitors are welcome to stay longer if
they wish.

We'll have people available to discuss dealing with aging dogs, food issues,
training, eye cleaning and staining, tools for grooming your Bichon,
vaccinations vs titers, and many other common issues for the breed. If your
Bichon does tricks, we'd like to see those and maybe even have a fashion
show. This is a great way to socialize your dogs with others of the same
breed. It's a fun time for all.

Come one, come all to this year's Capitol Bichon Bash held in the
Washington, DC area on Sunday, September 7, 2008 (the first Sunday
after Labor Day has been our traditional Bash day for several years).
We typically get approximately 200 bichons and over 300 people for
this annual FUNraiser of Maryland Bichon Frise Rescue, Inc.  But you
don't have to have a rescued bichon to attend .... all bichons and
their people are invited!

Make your vacation plans now!  We are checking out some new outside
venues for this year's Bash and will be back in touch about them once
the location is finalized ... as well as this year's presenters and
demonstrations.

If you would like to be added to our email list for Capitol Bichon
Bash updates, send an email to me at bichonbash@omrdc.com with Bichon
Bash in the subject line, and include your name, city/state and the
email address you would like me to use for future emails about this
year's Bash.
